Thilo Kehrer has made comments about being ‘two-footed’, but it could end up really working against him at West Ham.
According to a report from The Sun, West Ham signed Kehrer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer for just £13 million, including add-ons – what an unbelievable bargain.

The 26-year-old defender has proven to be a truly brilliant addition to David Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.
Kehrer began his West Ham career playing in central defence, before being moved out to right-back for our clash with Wolves on Saturday.
That’s the beauty of having the Germany international the club. He is so versatile, and can play in literally any position across the back-line, as well as in the defensive midfield role!
He was absolutely brilliant for West Ham against Wolves when playing at right-back last weekend.
That versatility may work against him though…

The former PSG ace has made such a big impact already at the London Stadium.
Not only has he been West Ham’s best and most consistent player this season but he has also established himself as a firm fan favourite.
The Hammers fans love Kehrer because of his obvious quality and unadulterated passion.
The German spoke to Sky Sports Germany and opened on on how he has always been naturally two-footed:
I was both footed very early on. I didn’t think much and tried to do the same things with both feet. I’ve always played different positions in youth teams, first in Stuttgart, then at Schalke in the Knappenschmiede. I didn’t change every game, more like a year in one position, a year in another. That’s why I can adapt very quickly to different tasks and positions.
Now, the fact that he can play anywhere along the back line and in the deep-lying central midfield role is great for West Ham and David Moyes.
The thing is though, it might not be great for Kehrer himself.
That’s because he may never nail down one position in particular as his own.
In my opinion, Kehrer should start every single game for West Ham, whether that be at right-back or centre-back.
It would definitely be better for him, from a personal perspective, if he nailed down a regular position, however.
Thilo Kehrer has made it clear that he can play anywhere for West Ham United because of his ability with both feet.
In my opinion, this could see him shunted all over the place for the Hammers and Germany this season. And that will not help him as far as consistency is concerned.
