Dharmesh Sheth has insisted that Declan Rice leaving West Ham for Chelsea is by no means a foregone conclusion.
Rice has gone from strength to strength for the Hammers and England over the past few years.
He is now considered to be one of the very best central midfielders in world football.

David Moyes’s main priority will be to keep Declan Rice at West Ham over the next few years.
But the Hammers have been given huge hope by someone with very good inside knowledge at the London Stadium…
Dharmesh Sheth hands West Ham fans big Declan Rice hope amidst Chelsea links
The Sky Sports reporter has forged great links with those in power at the London Stadium.
And he usually calls things involving West Ham pretty much spot on.
Sheth has been speaking to GiveMeSport, and provided an update on the current Declan Rice situation:
West Ham United, make no mistake about it, they know the value of Declan Rice. They will not be selling him on the cheap. There’s all this talk about that it’s a done deal to Chelsea. He’s going to reunite with his best friend Mason Mount. All of that stuff, that’s been going on for years and years and years, and yet he’s still remained at West Ham United.

That’s great to hear.
Dec is under contract with West Ham until the summer of 2024, and the club have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months.
And with that in mind, the summer of 2023 will obviously be crucial. If we are to get the maximum for Rice, David Moyes will have to sell him before the start of next season.
Hopefully West Ham produce something special this season though, and end up keeping Declan Rice at the London Stadium.
The onus is very much on Moyes, the players and the owners to make that happen.
