West Ham United star Emerson Palmieri has absolutely raved about one of his teammates.
Emerson Palmieri joined West Ham from Chelsea in the summer of 2022, but he has only really come into his own over the past few months.
The 29-year-old has completely turned things around after a poor start to his West Ham career.

Emerson has developed a fantastic understanding with his Hammers teammate Lucas Paqueta.
The Italy and Brazil internationals are clearly great friends off the pitch and have formed a lethal partnership on it.
Now Emerson has waxed lyrical about the 26-year-old former Lyon man…
Emerson Palmieri raves about his West Ham teammate
The Hammers left-back has been speaking to The Athletic about Paqueta.
And Emerson left no doubt about his feelings on the South American star:

“He has everything, from power, skills and he loves the game. He has what it takes to become a top player. He’s like a brother, but when he starts to dance, I always tell him, ‘I’m out’. It’s only Lucas dancing, never me! We played together in Lyon and when I joined the club, he helped me feel settled. When he arrived here last season, I was more than happy to return the favour and help him. Not just about what to expect in the Premier League but outside as well, like learning the language. I help him translate and like I said, that guy is a brother to me.”
The fact that he said Paqueta has what it takes to ‘become‘ a top player should make the rest of the Premier League very afraid indeed!
In my opinion, Paqueta is already an elite player, even world-class. Emerson clearly thinks that he can get even better though.
That’s a scary prospect for our rivals!
Emerson Palmieri obviously thinks that Lucas Paqueta could become an even better player for West Ham. All that I hope is that we are able to keep hold of him for longer than just one more season.
