Pablo Fornals could be gone from West Ham United in just over three month’s time.

According to El Sevillista, Sevilla were planning to sign Pablo Fornals from West Ham on a free transfer in the summer of 2024, but they could now bring him to Spain in the January transfer window.

It was recently claimed that the 27-year-old will not be taking up his option to extend his deal at the London Stadium by a further 12 months.

It’s hardly surprising is it, considering the fact that Hammers boss David Moyes has hardly played him over the past year or so.

And now it seems like West Ham could lose the former Villarreal man sooner than was first anticipated…

Pablo Fornals set for West Ham exit

The Spaniard could be set for a move back to his homeland to join Sevilla in January.

If Sevilla wanted to sign him in the summer on a free transfer they would be allowed to reach a pre-contract agreement with him in January.

However, if they want to bring him to the club in the winter, they will need to pay the Hammers a fee.

Pablo Fornals is a huge fan favourite at West Ham, and losing him would be a big shame as far as I’m concerned.

The thing is though, if Moyes isn’t playing him regularly, a move away from the London Stadium will be needed for him, if he is to spark his career back into life.

And I would not be surprised one little bit if the midfielder leaves the Hammers in January. Hopefully we will still be able to get a decent fee for him.
