West Ham defender Nayef Aguerd needs to be dropped as a matter of urgency after his poor performance vs Liverpool.
Nayef Aguerd has proven consistently that he is always liable to make a mistake when it really matters, and his error-prone nature is beginning to really cost West Ham now.

Hammers boss David Moyes would have been furious with the 27-year-old’s performance against Liverpool today.

There were huge calls for him to be dropped before the game began. The Athletic’s Roshane Thomas claimed that Moyes was definitely weighing it up.
And the Scot should have been courageous enough to take the Moroccan out of the team, especially after the performance of Konstantinos Mavropanos on Thursday night…
Nayef Aguerd needs to be taken out of this West Ham team now
The former Rennes defender was at fault for Liverpool’s opener.
He was in his own little world when Mohamed Salah nipped in front of him to steal the ball, only for Aguerd to bring the Egyptian down inside the penalty area.

Salah smashed home the ensuing penalty and once again, the Hammers were punished because of a sloppy error from the 27-year-old centre-back.
Moyes quite simply has to take him out of the team now and bring Mavropanos into the fold.
The Scot cannot keep allowing Aguerd to make these errors and escape without consequence.
It’s the Carabao Cup up next for West Ham and I expect the Morocco international to come out of the side for the clash with Lincoln. However, whether Moyes has the courage to drop him for the Sheffield United game in the Premier League remains to be seen.
