The 28-year-old has made an unbelievable start to his Hammers career and David Moyes deserves huge credit for pushing so hard to bring him to the London Stadium.

Ward-Prowse already has five assists and two goals to his name in just five games for West Ham so far this season – a truly incredible run of form.
The former Southampton man has been praised left right and centre from fans and pundits alike this term, but the latest person to compliment the midfielder will raise some eyebrows in the West Ham community!
West Ham ace James Ward-Prowse receives major praise from hugely surprising source
talkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has honestly admitted that he wished Tottenham had signed the 11-capped England international in the summer transfer window.
O’Hara explained why he rates the Hammers midfielder so highly:

“He’s so much more than that as a player. He gets labelled as a set-piece specialist, but genuinely, he’s got so much more to his game than people think. I think he’s fantastic, I really do. I wish Tottenham had signed him.”
O’Hara is very often outspoken about West Ham and regularly puts us down. He has almost made a career out of mocking us in the media.
So the fact that the talkSPORT pundit offered any kind of praise at all for Ward-Prowse proves that we have made a top, top signing.
West Ham are definitely stronger as a team now, after Declan Rice left to join Arsenal in the summer, and Ward-Prowse has played a crucial role in that transition.
£30 million for the 28-year-old now looks like an unbelievable bargain. Hopefully he continues to impress for the remainder of the season and beyond.
