Liverpool fans had a laugh and a joke at the expense of David Moyes seven-and-a-half years ago.
The current West Ham boss was the butt of most jokes aimed at Manchester United from the Liverpool fans.

Moyes endured a disastrous 11-month spell in charge of Man United from 2013 before his ultimate sacking in April 2014.
One game summed up Moyes’s tenure in charge at Old Trafford – an embarrassing 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford.

The Scot has completely rejuvenated his career since leaving Manchester United and failing at Real Sociedad and Sunderland.
Moyes is now regarded as one of the very best managers in the Premier League.
His stock has risen dramatically since he was sacked during his first spell in charge at the London Stadium.
The job that the 58-year-old has done since taking over at West Ham in December 2019 really is quite remarkable.
The Manchester United fans will surely now be wishing that they had never got rid of Moyes over seven years ago.
Things would be a lot different now at Old Trafford, that’s for sure.
The Liverpool fans saw first hand just how well-coached this current West Ham team is.
And a banner that the Reds fans held up at Old Trafford during a 3-0 win for their team back in 2014 now looks rather silly:
The banner was obviously a sarcastic one, suggesting that David Moyes was a genius for overseeing Manchester United’s demise!
Perhaps the Reds fans really do think Moyes is a football genius now though.

Yesterday’s result and performance from the West Ham players proves that Moyes is no longer a laughing stock on Merseyside or Manchester for that matter.
