Emerson Palmieri names one West Ham player who he’s in awe of
The Italy international is clearly not only best friends with Paqueta, but a huge admirer of the 26-year-old’s footballing ability as well.
Emerson was speaking to WHUFC.com about West Ham’s start to the season and found time to praise Lucas Paqueta:

“Paquetá’s always happy! He’s a player who creates a lot, but also works very hard for us in defence. His positional awareness is second to none. I had the pleasure of playing with him in Lyon too. He’s a craque (an ace) and he’s always got a smile on his face!”
Paqueta really is a sensational player. He’ll be absolutely vital for us this season and beyond…hopefully.
The Brazilian is the glue that holds this team together. His ability on the ball and composure when in possession is crucial to us when we’re under the cosh.
Paqueta really does have everything, and it’s no surprise at all that he’s been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City over the past couple of months. All we can do is hope that he remains at the London Stadium for at least a couple more seasons yet.
Emerson Palmieri is obviously a huge fan of his West Ham teammate. And the way that the Italian raved about the former Lyon man makes it very clear just how good he is.
