West Ham could attract almost any new manager in world football, when David Moyes is finally moved on from the London Stadium.
That’s according to well-renowned football transfer insider Dean Jones who told Give Me Sport that the Hammers owners can now be really ambitious with their next managerial appointment.
Moyes is skating on really thin ice at the moment, with his West Ham team in the middle of a horrendous run of results.
Our next game is a trip to Arsenal on Boxing Day, and a defeat at the Emirates really would put the heat on Moyes.
It seems as though if the 59-year-old is moved on at any point, the Hammers owners can aim really high with their next appointment…
Exciting new West Ham manager claim made
Should the Hammers owners decide to part ways with Moyes, the world will be their oyster.
That’s according to Dean Jones who told Give Me Sport that the sky’s the limit for West Ham when it comes to our new managerial appointment:
I honestly think that West Ham could attract almost any manager in the world. Take away Pep Guardiola and your very, very best coaches, anyone underneath that I think will be very interested in the West Ham job the next time it comes around, there’s so much going for it.
That really is an exciting claim about a potential new West Ham manager.
My personal view is that Moyes did incredibly well when he was handed the reigns at the London Stadium for the second time in December 2019.
The Scot restored fight back into the players and pride back into the fanbase.
However, he has taken this team as far as he can now in my opinion. Moyes has numerous top-class players at his disposal and he has proven time and time again that he is unable to get the best out of them with his archaic tactics and footballing philosophy.
It’s time for a change.
And the exciting new West Ham manager claim made by Dean Jones should give us all hope throughout this World Cup break.
