Declan Rice responds to West Ham teammate Jamal Baptiste on Instagram after the youngster played for England’s under-19’s on Tuesday night.
The 17-year-old is a truly magnificent young talent.
David Moyes must be rubbing his hands together at the prospect of Baptiste breaking through into the senior team at some point in the near future.
West Ham are well-renowned for bringing the very best young players through the ranks.
The most recent top-class product of our academy is Declan Rice.
The 22-year-old is now a regular for the Hammers and England. And we are confident that Baptiste will go on to emulate his teammate.

The 17-year-old Hammers starlet is clearly a real superstar in the making.
He earned his fifth cap for England’s under-19’s the other day and posted a message on Instagram – one that Declan Rice interacted with immediately:
Baptiste has made a combined 70 appearances for West Ham’s under-18s and under-23s.
The teenager is a real standout performer at youth level.
He has a certain kind of composure and coolness in possession that you just cannot teach. Baptiste is undoubtedly a star of the future and we’re very lucky to have him at the London Stadium.
It was nice to see our current star man Declan Rice recognise the outstandingly talented youngster on Instagram.
As the old saying goes…great recognises great.
