West Ham United manager David Moyes has absolutely raved about Hammers star Manuel Lanzini.
The 29-year-old has been in sensational form for West Ham this season, particularly over the past few months.

Lanzini joined the Hammers on loan from Al Jazira in the summer of 2015. He then made his move to West Ham a permanent one the following year for around £8 million (ESPN).
The South American was brilliant for West Ham during his first couple of years in East London but he regressed badly after suffering an ACL injury in the summer of 2018. Some Hammers fans thought we would never see the best of our little diamond ever again.
Lanzini was an absolute shadow of his former self for the three years following the serious injury that he suffered.
The Argentinian ace has finally rediscovered his best form for West Ham though. He has been truly superb this season and has played a pivotal role for the Hammers.

Manu has been deployed in a deeper role recently and his ability on the ball and composure in possession has added another facet to the way in which West Ham play as a team.
Moyes praises Lanzini, labels him as a ‘difference maker’ for West Ham
The Argentinian ace is certainly back to his best and that’s so good to see.
It’s absolutely brilliant to have our little diamond back and firing on all cylinders. If we are to make genuine progress as a football club, Lanzini needs to maintain his recent levels over a consistent period of time.
Lanzini’s certainly capable of making a huge difference for us in the big games as well. He is truly top-class.
David Moyes spoke to reporters and lifted the lid on why the 29-year-old had to change the way in which he plays, as quoted by Claret and Hugh:

“His injury has changed the way he plays for us, he is more of all round footballer now. He has matured as a person and for our team he has made a big difference.”
Moyes is right, Manu has made a huge difference for us.
With Lanzini sitting alongside Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek has been able to get forward more of late as well. The new found setup in midfield seems to work so much better.
Not only are we more at ease in possession but each and every player is being utilised to their best strengths.
Lanzini’s recent resurgence has been so good to see considering how much he struggled after his ACL injury in 2018.
Now let’s just hope that he keeps up his fine form between now and the end of the season.
