West Ham manager David Moyes has been told by his ‘closest allies’ to sign Joe Worrall from Nottingham Forest in the summer.
That’s according to a report from The Sun who claim that the Hammers manager has been impressed by Worrall’s displays for Forest this season.

Central defence is certainly an area where West Ham need to strengthen in the summer transfer window.
Angelo Ogbonna has been missing since November with an ACL injury and isn’t expected back for another couple of months yet. He will be 34 before the start of next season as well.

Meanwhile, Craig Dawson will be 32 in a couple of months whilst the jury is still very much out on Issa Diop.
And it seems as though Moyes is being strongly advised by his scouts to sign one player in particular this summer…
West Ham scouts tell Moyes exactly who to sign in the summer
The Sun claims that the Hammers scouts closest to David Moyes have told the Scot to make a bid for Joe Worrall in the summer if Nottingham Forest fail to achieve promotion to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old Forest ace has been in brilliant form for his club this season. And we think he would be a very smart summer signing for West Ham.
In 28 Championship appearances for Forest this season, Worrall has averaged 1.8 tackles, two interceptions, 3.4 clearances and one block per game. He has also won an average of 2.3 aerial duels per match during those outings (Who Scored).
His passing out from the back isn’t exactly the best but it’s far from poor either. Worrall has made 55.1 passes on average per game this season and has recorded a completion rate of 77% (Who Scored).

The 25-year-old is well known for being an aerially dominant and a tough tackling central defender.
Worrall stands at 6ft 4in tall and is a real warrior. He is exactly the kind of defender Moyes should be looking to sign. He is a composed defender, extremely mature for his age and is already a real leader for Forest.
If Forest fail to gain promotion to the Premier League this season, they will allegedly be open to selling Worrall for somewhere in the region of £12-15 million (The Sun).
That seems like very good value to us.
And we would be more than happy if Moyes brings Joe Worrall to the London Stadium in the summer.
