Celtic are reportedly being ‘particularly greedy’ with their demands for West Ham United transfer target Josip Juranovic.

That’s according to a report from football journalist Ignazio Genuardi who claims Celtic are demanding €20 million (£17 million) for the 27-year-old.

Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the Croatia World Cup star to the London Stadium from Parkhead in the January transfer window.

The Scot desperately needs to bolster his right-back department at West Ham, and Juranovic would be a great addition in my opinion.

He has everything needed to succeed in the Premier League with the Hammers.

It appears as though the 27-year-old won’t come cheap though…

Celtic are demanding big fee for Josip Juranovic

The Hammers are allegedly one of the clubs with ‘notable’ interest in signing the 27-year-old defender.

Ignazio Genuardi claims the Hoops are being ‘particularly greedy’ when it comes to the Croatian:

In fairness to Celtic, why shouldn’t they demand a big fee for the right-back.

Juranovic is under contract with Celtic until the summer of 2026. And they are totally within their rights to demand that kind of fee for him.

That doesn’t mean that West Ham should pay it.

I feel as though £10-12 million would be a fair price for Juranovic. But as mentioned earlier, if Celtic are demanding more than that, he may well end up staying in Glasgow.
