Hammers boss David Moyes signed Okoflex from Celtic in the summer of 2021, and he arrived at the London Stadium with a big reputation as a supremely talented young player.

Il Centro reckon that the Dublin-born winger is closing in on a move to Pescara – a team that currently play in Italy’s third tier.

Perhaps his work-rate wasn’t what it should be or maybe his attitude didn’t match his talent. Or it could be that Moyes quite simply just didn’t rate him as a footballer. Nobody actually knows.

The fact that he’s closing in on a move to a Serie C side tells a lot really doesn’t it.

I wish Armstrong Okoflex the best of luck in his new adventure out in Italy, and it will be interesting to see if he ever fulfils his potential.
