And what a signing the Italian has proven to be for West Ham.
He has reached entirely new levels over the past two years or so and it now arguably one of the first names on David Moyes’s team-sheet.

Ogbonna is a huge character and is undoubtedly one of the leaders at the London Stadium.
The former Juventus ace’s current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2022.
Angelo Ogbonna new contract decision close to being made
Claret and Hugh claim that due to Ogbonna’s fine recent form, a new Hammers deal could be in the offing.
That will undoubtedly be the right decision.

In eight Premier League appearances so far this season, Oggy has averaged one tackle, one interception and 2.3 clearances per game. He has also won an average of 3.1 aerial duels per match (Who Scored).
The Italian is also a very underrated passer of the football. He has averaged 47 passes per game this term whilst recording an impressive completion rate of 86.2% (Who Scored).
Signing him up on a new contract will be a crucial move for West Ham.
