Aaron Cresswell has praised £86 million West Ham duo Gianluca Scamacca and Lucas Paqueta, claiming that they’re ‘exceptional to watch’.

The Hammers seem to have turned the corner recently, after a woeful start to the 2022/23 campaign.

David Moyes’s men have picked up three wins on the bounce – two in the Premier League and one in the Europa Conference League.

Scamacca and Paqueta have played a huge role in those three wins, and the Italian recently highlighted how good the connection between him and the Brazilian is.

The Brazilian was signed by David Moyes in the summer transfer window for around £51 million (The Sun), whilst the Italian cost roughly £35 million (Sky Sports).

£86 million for those two players could end up looking like a real bargain.

They are already huge hits with the Hammers fans.

And Aaron Cresswell’s comments on the West Ham duo prove that they are very highly thought of at the London Stadium…

Aaron Cresswell raves about West Ham duo Scamacca and Paqueta

I have to pinch myself sometimes when I see the Italy and Brazil internationals lining up for the Hammers.

The fact that those two players joined West Ham in the summer is evidence that we are a club really going places under David Moyes.

In fairness, the board deserve a lot of credit for splashing out on two players who, let’s be honest, could probably have joined Champions League clubs in the summer.

We have given them plenty of stick throughout the years, so it’s only right to praise them when they’ve done something good.

And Aaron Cresswell highlighter just how good Scamacca and Paqueta are, when speaking to West Ham’s official website:

Paqueta and Ginaluca, that link-up at times, is exceptional to watch, and their play has been very good.

The prospect of Scamacca and Paqueta blossoming together in this West Ham team is a really exciting one.

David Moyes is slowly building something special at the London Stadium. I have been hugely critical of his management this season but perhaps that was a bit harsh.

Eight new signings will always take a lot of time to bed in. The next step for them, and Moyes, will be to start playing a more attacking brand of exciting football.

And as Aaron Cresswell says, with Scamacca and Paqueta at the club, West Ham will have a very good chance of doing just that.
