Two astonishing facts have emerged that prove West Ham are a serious team this season and not the imposters the Hammers are accused of being.
According to the BBC, Sky Sports and even the Premier League – West Ham are imposters this season.
With fifth place in the Premier League highly likely to be rewarded with a place in the Champions League this season – and most seasons here on in given the strength of the English top flight – West Ham have every right to aim for such heights following an impressive start.
The Hammers have only lost two of their 11 games in all competitions so far – to champions Man City and challengers Liverpool.

And there are arguments to make they were unfortunate in both of those games too.
But Sky Sports, the Premier League’s official website and the BBC have been looking to tear West Ham down this week.
Each have produced stat-based analysis of the season so far and have stated West Ham – seventh approaching the quarter-way stage – are in a falsely lofty position.
Well here are two astonishing facts that prove West Ham are a serious team this season and not the imposters the Hammers are accused of being.

Not bad going for a bunch of imposters…
Firstly, David Moyes’ side are one of only SIX teams in the entire country to have scored in every single game this season.
Just six teams of the 92 sides making up the English football league pyramid have scored a goal in EVERY game so far this season.
Five of those are Premier League sides and West Ham are one of them alongside Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, Brighton and Championship promotion hopefuls Ipswich.
Not bad for a bunch of imposters is it?
The second Hammers fact which proves the naysayers wrong comes in the form of their season to date points vs last year when compared to their Premier League rivals.
And guess what, imposters West Ham have 10 – yes TEN – more points than at the same stage last season.
It is the biggest increase in the Premier League on last season by a distance.
With West Ham talisman Lucas Paqueta officially the best all round player in the league so far this season too, who is to say Moyes’ boys are not bona fide contenders for the European spots.
Sky, the BBC and the Premier League have all stated they believe West Ham will drop away during the upcoming run of seven games in 22 days.
Let’s hope we prove all the doubters wrong, starting at Aston Villa this Sunday.
