An American journalist has clarified the situation after fears of a potential injury to substituted West Ham star Mohammed Kudus in Ghana thumping.
West Ham fans have been buzzing ever since the club somehow beat off a host of top sides to land Mohammed Kudus in a £38m deal from Ajax in the summer.
David Moyes has been drip-feeding the Black Stars sensation into West Ham’s games so far.
That has been much to the frustration for some Hammers supporters who want to see Kudus unleashed where it matters most – the Premier League.
Kudus announced himself with a thumping last gasp equaliser after coming on as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with Newcastle before the international break.

It was his substitution during it which has had some worried, though.
An American journalist has clarified the situation after fears of a potential injury to substituted West Ham star Kudus in Ghana thumping.
Ghana played USA in a friendly overnight and were well beaten 4-0.
West Ham ace Kudus is the undisputed golden boy of Ghanaian football. So he did, of course, start the game in Nashville.
For Moyes and West Ham fans there are always concerns when players jet off around the world to represent their countries. Not so much about fatigue at this early stage of the season but more so the risk of injury.
So when West Ham supporters saw Kudus had been substituted with 20 minutes remaining by former Hammer Chris Hughton, there was understandable concerns on social media and fan forums. Especially with scant detail available on the reason why.

Major relief for West Ham and Moyes as reporter confirms Kudus substitution was tactical and not injury related
But American sports reporter Kyle Bonn was at the game and has provided an update which will come as a great relief to West Ham ahead of Sunday’s trip to Aston Villa.
Writing for US site Sporting News, Bonn says the substitution was purely tactical as Kudus and his strike partner were struggling to get any joy against a dominant USA side.
“Mohammed Kudus and Inaki Williams are brought off for Ghana, as neither managed to find any openings up front,” Bonn reported from Nashville.
Although that was in part down to Bournemouth goalkeeper Matt Turner who produced a wonderful save to stop the West Ham ace from scoring an absolute beauty from outside the box – which you can see in the post below.
Now let’s get the star boy home safe and sound and get him ready for Villa and the start of seven big games in 22 days for West Ham.
