West Ham United fans went wild celebrating Michail Antonio’s brilliant winner in the victory over Leeds United at Elland Road.

And former West Ham star Anton Ferdinand was doing the same on his debut in the BT Sport studios.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

West Ham found themselves 1-0 down at half-time against Marcelo Bielsa’s swashbuckling Leeds side.

But goals from Jarrod Bowen – with help from reported former Hammers target Junior Firpo – and a brilliant last minute winner from Antonio put the seal on an excellent win.

Ferdinand like his older brother Rio Ferdinand – came through West Ham’s famous academy.

Rio Ferdinand also played for Leeds, who signed him from the Hammers for £18m – a world record for a defender at the time.

But there was no sign of split loyalties from the Ferdinand family in the BT Sport studio as Anton celebrated West Ham’s winner over Leeds like the Hammers fan he is.

“It’s that man Antonio, come to me I’m ready now, I’m ready now!” Ferdinand screamed when Antonio slotted home in emphatic style at Elland Road.

“We’ve gone from them cancelling each other out to West Ham winning 2-1. Antonio goes through, he gets there before the defender and slots it home, 2-1 WEST HAM.

“Listen Declan Rice fantastic again you know. The power that he shows when he’s driving with the ball.

“A great pass for Antonio and Antonio does what he’s been doing all season and back end of last season, what a great finish.

“He’s turned from a wide man into a real number nine and a real problem.”

A video of Ferdinand’s reaction to West Ham’s winner at Leeds was posted by BT Sport Score on Twitter.

And the man himself commented on it, saying: “Loved every minute of that today even when I couldn’t get my words out.”
