West Ham United are ‘definitely’ interested in signing Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips in the summer transfer window.
That’s according two renowned talkSPORT football journalist Alex Crook who told Give Me Sport that the offer of European football and the chance to play alongside Declan Rice could appeal to the Leeds star.

Whites boss Jesse Marsch is allegedly demanding around £60 million for Kalvin Phillips (The Times).
That fee may well drop a lot lower, however, if Leeds end up getting relegated from the Premier League this season.
Phillips has been outstanding for Leeds and England over the past 18 months or so. And a move to join West Ham could very well be on the cards this summer…
West Ham will try to sign Leeds ace Kalvin Phillips
The 26-year-old Whites midfielder is one of the very best in the Premier League in his specific role.
His defensive solidarity and exceptional range of passing would surely take the Hammers to a whole new level entirely.
And Alex Crook told Give Me Sport exactly why Phillips could be West Ham bound soon:
“Kalvin Phillips, I think, has a decision to make. He might go either way and West Ham are definitely keen on him. It would offer him the chance to play in European football alongside Declan Rice and really cement that relationship ahead of maybe replicating it at the World Cup.”
We would absolutely love to see Kalvin Phillips at the London Stadium.
The 26-year-old would be the perfect summer signing for the Hammers.
He is a tough-tackling, tenacious central midfielder and would be the ideal man to slot in the middle of the park alongside Declan Rice.
This would then allow Tomas Soucek to get forward more and do what he does best.
We firmly believe that there is every chance that this one will happen this summer.
And if West Ham bring Kalvin Phillips to the London Stadium from Leeds, we will be in a really strong position to kick on again next season.
