West Ham United are currently in pole position to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri ahead of Liverpool according to a report from La Razon.

And if the Hammers manage to beat the Reds to the 23-year-old’s signature this summer, it would be a truly massive statement of intent from the east London outfit.
David Moyes has worked wonders since taking over at the London Stadium.
The same can be said of Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
The German has led Liverpool to recent Premier League and Champions League titles.

Amazingly though, West Ham are currently sitting ahead of Liverpool in the Premier League table.
Considering the lack of strength in depth David Moyes has at his disposal, this season already has to go down a huge achievement for the Hammers.
If we end up finishing above the mighty Liverpool in the table, Moyes will be able to make more ambitious signings in the summer.
West Ham beating Liverpool to Youssef En-Nesyri would be a massive statement
La Razon claims that is exactly what could happen. We at Hammers News covered those claims earlier today right HERE.

En-Nesyri has scored 22 goals in 43 games so far this term (Who Scored). The 23-year-old is lively, quick and has great mobility and movement. He is pretty good in the air as well. In short, he is a complete striker.
The Morocco international is one of the most exciting up and coming young strikers in world football.
His playing style seems to be ideally suited to the Premier League. He is a clinical finisher and has plenty of years left ahead of him to improve even further still.
So it is little wonder that he is valued at around £40 million (La Razon).
It certainly won’t be easy to beat Liverpool to En-Nesyri’s signature. But if the West Ham owners show some real ambition this summer, it will certainly be a possibility.
And what a huge statement of intent it will be if the Moroccan rocks up at the London Stadium this summer.
