West Ham United are in prime position to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri this summer according to a report from La Razon.
Hammers boss David Moyes will be prioritising the addition of at least one top class striker this summer.
West Ham desperately need more quality and competition in the centre-forward department at the London Stadium.
Sevilla ace Youssef En-Nesyri would be an exceptional addition for the Hammers.
The Athletic claimed towards the end of January that West Ham made a £27 million bid for the 23-year-old – one that was swiftly rejected by Sevilla.
West Ham now in prime position to sign Youssef En-Nesyri
La Razon claims that the Hammers are best placed to sign the Morocco international this summer.
West Ham are allegedly prepared to pay £40 million for En-Nesyri this summer.
That would smash the record for the highest transfer fee Sevilla have ever received.
En-Nesyri has scored 22 goals in 43 games so far this term (Who Scored). The 23-year-old is lively, quick and has great mobility and movement. He is pretty good in the air as well. In short, he is a complete striker.
The Moroccan would be such an exciting signing for the Hammers.
It remains to be seen heather the West Ham owners are really prepared to spend £40 million on the striker, however.
