West Ham eyeing Djibril Sow swoop

Kicker reckon that Moyes is keen to bring the 36-capped Switzerland international to the club in the summer.

I would love to see Sow at the London Stadium. He was brilliant for Eintracht Frankfurt against us last season and I think he would add so much to Moyes’s central midfield ranks.

He is an orthodox central midfielder by trade, but can also operate in the deep-lying role or even in a more advanced position.

The Swiss ace possesses impressive technique, has a great engine, is a superb passer of the football and never shirks the physical battle.

In 18 Bundesliga appearances so far this season, the 25-year-old has bagged two goals. During those outings, Sow has averaged 1.5 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 0.9 clearances per game (Who Scored).

During those 18 appearances, the midfielder has made 45.9 passes on average per match and has recorded an impressive completion rate of 86% (Who Scored).

With Sow’s all-round quality, strength, technical ability and outstanding potential, he would be the perfect summer signing for West Ham.

Whether West Ham are able to beat Aston Villa to the signing of Djibril Sow remains to be seen though. One would assume that where both clubs finish in the Premier League table this season will determine that outcome.
