West Ham target Patson Daka has been in truly sensational form this season.

Hammers boss David Moyes wants to sign the RB Salzburg striker according to The Mirror and Area Napoli.

And what a signing Daka would be for us.

The 22-year-old could be available for just £17 million this summer according to Salzburger Nachrichten.

That would be incredible value for the East London outfit. The Zambia international is a truly exceptional talent.

West Ham target Daka in scintillating form

The 22-year-old has racked up a stunning 34 goals and 12 assists in 41 games for RB Salzburg so far this season (Transfermarkt).

In total, Daka has played 2,889 minutes this season. So that works out at an incredible rate of a goal involvement every 62 minutes.

West Ham quite simply have to go all out for the Zambian hitman this summer.

 

Daka possesses blistering pace, terrific movement and has bags and bags of potential.

David Moyes has to be smart in his summer recruitment.

Signing Daka for £17 million would certainly represent thrifty transfer business.

The Scot should be looking to sign someone else as well, however, in order to give us more depth.

A second striker addition will most probably have to be a free transfer or a loan deal though.

First and foremost, however, we just need to get a deal for Daka done and dusted as soon as possible.
