Club insiders Claret and Hugh and The Daily Mail claimed that the Hammers want to sign the 23-year-old Brentford left-back.
He played with Benrahma during their time together at the Bees.

The 25-year-old has made a slow start to life with the Hammers since moving to the London Stadium from Brentford originally on loan in October last year.
Benrahma ended up joining West Ham on a permanent £25 million deal last month, having spent the previous three months at the London Stadium on a £4 million loan deal (Eurosport).
Benny finally got his first goal for West Ham last night. The goals and assists will surely start to flow on a regular basis for Benrahma now.
