West Ham United target Andrea Belotti could well be on his way to England from Turin in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb who claim that the Hammers are in the picture to sign the 28-year-old and that ‘something could be happening in England’.

Belotti is all set to leave Torino in the summer on a free transfer.

West Ham boss David Moyes is desperate to sign a top-class, proven goalscorer. So it’s obvious why the Hammers might be interested in signing the Italian.

Belotti is on West Ham’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window according to the likes of Tuttosport and Tuttomercatoweb.

Michail Antonio is currently the only recognised striker available to Moyes at the London Stadium.

And that will undoubtedly be addressed in the summer. Whilst Moyes will want to make a marquee signing, he may well supplement a big money arrival with a free transfer addition as well…

West Ham target Andrea Belotti could be England bound

TuttoMercatoWeb reckon that Atalanta and the Hammers are the clubs currently showing most interest in signing the Italy international hitman.

The Italian newspaper alleges that ‘something could be happening in England’. Quite what that means exactly is anyone’s guess.

One thing’s for sure though – West Ham signing Belotti on a free transfer seems like an absolute no-brainer this summer, as long as he isn’t our only centre-forward addition of course.

The Torino striker has a proven track record of scoring goals at the very highest level for a sustained period of time.

The 41-capped Italy international has bagged 155 goals in 386 career games at club level (Transfermarkt).

Belotti is an incredibly hard-working forward. He possesses superb movement and is always a real handful for opposing defenders. The Torino ace certainly knows where the back of the net is as well.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see this one happen one little bit. As mentioned earlier though, if Belotti is the only striker signing that West Ham make in the summer, there will be plenty of unhappy people at the London Stadium.

West Ham target Andrea Belotti is clearly ready for the next stage of his career. Quite where he will be plying his trade next season remains to be seen though.
