West Ham United allegedly could sign defenders Thilo Kehrer AND Attila Szalai before the transfer window slams shut.
That’s according to a report from The Express who claim that David Moyes bringing both central defenders to the London Stadium cannot be ruled out this summer.

Moyes has somewhat of a defensive injury crisis on his hands at the London Stadium at the moment.
Nayef Aguerd is out injured after undergoing ankle surgery whilst Angelo Ogbonna is nowhere near match fit. Meanwhile, Issa Diop has just left to join Fulham.
West Ham have to get some bodies over the line quickly, especially in the centre-back department. And it seems as though that’s exactly what Moyes is trying to do…
West Ham could secure impressive double deal
The Express reckon that the Hammers could sign Thilo Kehrer AND Attila Szalai.
Bringing in those two players would be a really exciting double swoop and a very reasonably priced one at that!
We believe that both players would be superb additions for West Ham this summer.
Kehrer can operate in either full-back positions as well!
The 25-year-old is absolutely rapid and is one of Germany’s fastest players according to Sport Mob. When he was at Schalke, the Bundesliga’s official website described him as a potentially ‘world-class’ player.
He’s a three time league winner, having enjoyed great success at Parc des Princes.
The 25-year-old is an exceptional passer of the football as well.
In 27 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season, he made an average of 43.1 passes per match and recorded an incredibly successful completion rate of 94.7% (Who Scored).
Standing at 6ft 1in tall, Kehrer isn’t the tallest of centre-backs, but he possesses an incredible leap, similar to that of Manchester City defender Nathan Ake.
The German’s ability to play in a variety of defensive positions will obviously appeal to David Moyes.
Kehrer could be available for just £17 million (The Daily Mail).
Meanwhile, Szalai would be a superb addition for the Hammers as well.
He really does have absolutely everything that the Hammers need at the moment.
The physically imposing Fenerbahce centre-back seems to be tailor made for the Premier League.
Standing at 6ft 4in tall, the 24-capped Hungary international is an imposing figure. He is incredibly strong, athletic and dominant in the air.
In 32 Super Lig games for Fenerbahce last season, Szalai bagged one goal and two assists. During those appearances, he averaged 1.1 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and two clearances per game (Who Scored).
The Hungarian could be available for around £13 million this summer (Yeni Safak).
£30 million for those two players would represent fantastic business for West Ham. Let’s just hope that Moyes manages to get at least one of those deals over the line before our next game away at Nottingham Forest.
