Roma striker Tammy Abraham is back on the menu for West Ham United this summer it seems.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a move to sign Tammy Abraham for years now, and we apparently made an enquiry for him just 11 days ago.
However, it was suggested that the 26-year-old striker preferred a move to AC Milan over the Hammers at the time.
Could that have changed now though, considering how many exciting new additions Julen Lopetegui has made?
Possibly so.
The Hammers are a really ambitious club and Lopetegui has an incredibly strong squad at his disposal now.
West Ham have already signed Niclas Fullkrug, but if Michail Antonio and Danny Ings are moved on this summer, the addition of another centre-forward will definitely be required.
And it seems as though Tammy could well be the man for the job at the London Stadium.
West Ham ramp up Tammy Abraham pursuit
So the former Chelsea man could well be set for a return to London from the Italian capital this summer it seems.
The London-born centre-forward left Chelsea to join Roma back in the summer of 2021, after West Ham had been heavily linked with signing him.

Abraham is a top striker, and has bagged an impressive 130 goals in in 339 career appearances for club and country.
He has been described as ‘incredible’ by Goal, and they’re not wrong.
Now Claret and Hugh are claiming that he’s an option for West Ham, as an alternative to Aston Villa hitman Jhon Duran.
It is suggested that he’s available for around £25 million – a real bargain in this day and age. However, be warned, signing Tammy would not be a deal without risk involved.
The English hitman has missed 301 days of football since rupturing his ACL when playing for Roma back in 2023.
ACL injuries are notoriously difficult to come back from, especially when players are in their mid-twenties.
The powers that be at West Ham will have to weigh up whether or not it’s worth taking a risk on bringing Tammy Abraham to the London Stadium.
If it was guaranteed that he will remain injury free for the next four years or so, spending £25 million on the 26-year-old would be an incredibly good deal.
However, if that was the case, Tammy would be a £60-70 million striker. I’m of the opinion that he will be worth a punt for the Hammers this summer.
£25 million really is nothing in the current market.
