Slavia Prague centre-back Maksym Taloverov is on the radar of West Ham United this summer.
In addition to that, Angelo Ogbonna probably has only one more season left in him at the London Stadium, whilst Kurt Zouma continues to struggle with persistent injury problems.
And it seems as though Moyes could go shopping at a club where he’s signed two of his current players from in order to reinforce his centre-back options…
West Ham now want to sign Maksym Taloverov
AS Sport claim that the 6ft 5in central defender is firmly on the Hammers’ radar this summer.
Taloverov has 21 caps for the Ukraine under-21s to his name.
He is incredibly strong in the air, as you would expect for someone who is 6ft 5in tall.
However, he isn’t very fast, and questions must be asked as to whether he’s anywhere near good enough to be play Premier League football.
Moyes has signed two players from Slavia Prague before – Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal. So the Scot may be thinking that the Czech club is a good breeding ground for hard-working players who can succeed in England.
That said, I would be fairly underwhelmed if West Ham signed Maksym Taloverov this summer.
