West Ham make stunning move to sign Karim Adeyemi who’s ‘faster than Usain Bolt’

Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi has emerged as a shock transfer target for West Ham United this summer.

West Ham head coach Julen Lopetegui is well-known to be on the hunt for more attacking reinforcements this summer, and especially wants to add more pace to his ranks.

After Michail Antonio lost his explosive pace around 12 months ago, we have been painfully slow as a team in transition.

Aside from Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus, we don’t have any other powerful runners who can move us up the pitch with the ball at their feet.

In my opinion, signing a forward with blistering pace – someone who can play all across the front-line, should be one of the main priorities for Lopetegui between now and the end of the summer window.

Adeyemi would certainly provide us with the pace we are so desperately lacking right now, so could we really prise him away from Dortmund?

A new report has shed some light on that exact question.

West Ham make stunning move to sign Karim Adeyemi

According to a report from TuttoSport, West Ham have just made a bold move to sign the Borussia Dortmund speed demon.

However, the 22-year-old is not interested in joining the Hammers this summer unfortunately.

If West Ham really have made a move for Adeyemi, it’s a serious sign of ambition from the club.

Adeyemi is said to be faster than Usain Bolt over 30 meters (Goal)!

That is quite the statement, but anyone who has seen him play will be well aware of just how explosive he is.

It goes without saying that he’s absolutely rapid, but he’s a good finisher as well and he can play out wide on the left, on the right, or through the middle.

He would bring so much to the Hammers’ attacking play, there is absolutely no doubt about that.

It’s just such a shame that the four-capped Germany international is not interested in moving to the London Stadium this summer.

Perhaps if we had European football on offer, things might have been different.

I fully expect Adeyemi to join a club competing the Champions League, if he does indeed leave Borussia Dortmund this summer.
