West Ham have made an enquiry for Manchester United star Scott McTominay but received short shrift from the Premier League giants.
That’s according to a report from 90 Min who claim that a whole host of Premier League clubs wanted to sign the Manchester United star, 26, in the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old remained at Old Trafford in the end though.
And despite the fact that he hasn’t played regularly under Erik ten Hag this season, it seems as though he still has an important role to play for the Red Devils…
West Ham make Premier League star enquiry
The Hammers lodged an enquiry for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, according to a report from 90 Min.
West Ham apparently won’t be signing the Scotland international though, with Ten Hag keen to keep him at Old Trafford until at least the end of the season.
I actually think that the 26-year-old Man United man would be a strong addition for West Ham, and maybe we’ll go back in for him in the summer.

Despite the jokes that McTominay is a poor player, he is actually very good, and he has proved that for a number of years now. Diego Simeone once labelled the midfielder as a ‘world-class’ player (talkSPORT).
So McTominay clearly has something special about him.
He is a strong and combative midfielder. In 30 Premier League games last season, McTominay averaged 2.2 tackles, one interception and two clearances per game. He also won 2.3 aerial duels per match. During those appearances, the Scot made 41.1 passes per game on average and recorded an impressive completion rate of 85.6% (Who Scored).
McTominay actually has everything that West Ham need in the middle of the park, and would be a useful addition for us for when Declan Rice inevitably leaves.
It’s clear that West Ham won’t be signing the Premier League star this summer though, despite allegedly making an enquiry for him.
