West Ham could be in the money as a report claims PSG interest in Nayef Aguerd and it has an exciting pay-off.
Hammers News brought you the exclusive in November which revealed West Ham must ship players out to clear squad space and satisfy FFP rules.
That was because the Hammers had reached their limit regarding wages-to-turnover.
And so it has proved with West Ham shipping out Thilo Kehrer and now looking to sell several other players in order to invest in better, younger stars – preferably some of homegrown status.
One of West Ham’s more saleable assets David Moyes is ‘happy’ to see leave for the right price is Nayef Aguerd.

West Ham in the money
The problem is finding a buyer to come up with the right money in the January transfer window.
We told you before Christmas Aguerd had likely played his last game for West Ham.
He has been linked with a host of clubs in France, Italy and Saudi Arabia. But mostly loans with options or deals that come in under his £30m valuation.
But there’s been a welcome development overnight.
West Ham are in the money as a report claims PSG interest in Aguerd and it has an exciting pay-off.

PSG want Aguerd and it has an exciting pay-off
According to L’Équipe, PSG have enquired with West Ham about signing the Morocco centre-back after a serious injury to their star defender Milan Skriniar.
The Slovakian needs an ankle operation which could keep him out for the rest of the season.
If one club has the money to meet West Ham’s asking price for Aguerd then it’s money bags Paris Saint-Germain.
And that is very encouraging for the Hammers.

Going in for the Kil
Because the club is being widely tipped to use the money to meet Wolves’ £40-45m asking price for captain Max Kilman.
The brilliant left-footed, ball-carrying centre-back would be a huge upgrade on Aguerd who has been inconsistent and error-prone since his arrival from Rennes.
Just yesterday a CBS journalist who first broke news of Arsenal’s interest in Declan Rice claimed West Ham’s move for Kilman was ‘one to watch’ providing they can offload Aguerd.
Well it seems that is one step closer to reality now is PSG’s interest is concrete.
As we reported previously, Wolverhampton Wanderers boss and former Hammers midfielder Gary O’Neil gave his old club huge encouragement when he admitted he must sell to buy this month.
