West Ham United have only just sold Arthur Masuaku, now he reportedly could join another Premier League side.

According to a report from Turkish outlet Takvim, Arthur Masuaku is a transfer target for Sheffield United this summer, having only just joined Besiktas on a permanent £2 million deal from West Ham.

Masuaku joined the Hammers from Olympiacos in a £6 million deal in the summer of 2016 (Sky Sports).

However, his time at the London Stadium was littered with costly errors and he left West Ham to join Besiktas permanently last month, having spent the previous season in loan with the Turkish giants.

And amazingly, it now seems as though he could be set for a quick return to the Premier League…

The 29-year-old is a surprise summer transfer target for the newly promoted Blades according to a report from Tavkim.

Word of advice for Sheffield United – you really don’t want to be signing Masuaku in my opinion.

Getting rid of the 29-year-old on a permanent deal this summer was really good business from the Hammers.

He never made any kind of positive impact in East London, and was regularly a weak-link for us when he played.

Arthur Masuaku’s poor concentration levels and shocking positional awareness cost West Ham dearly on numerous occasions over the years.

I’m delighted that we managed to get a fee for him, even though it represented a £4 million loss on what we paid for him seven years ago.

And if Sheffield United end up signing him, their fans will soon find out exactly what I’m talking about.
