West Ham United desperately need to get some new signings over the line over the next few days.

Graham Potter isn’t a miracle worker, and he really needs some help if West Ham are to realise our potential as a club.

West Ham are believed to be in for numerous new signings this month, including Napoli star Giacomo Raspadori.

Nothing less than two new top-class additions will do before Monday’s deadline.

Potter has already made huge strides during his 19 days in charge of the Hammers.

So can you imagine what he’ll be capable of with further reinforcements?

The really exciting thing is that we seem to be in for some hugely talented players before deadline day.

West Ham have made January window enquiry for box-to-box star

I fully expect the Hammers’ transfer business to really pick up now.

Potter will know how much he needs to get at least two players through the door before Monday’s deadline.

And it seems like the West Ham head coach could be set to go shopping in Italy.

Tuttomercatoweb’s Marco Conterio has claimed that the Hammers have lodged an enquiry for Juventus star Nicolo Fagioli.

West Ham have been heavily linked with a move to sign the 23-year-old Juve midfielder already this month.

I think the Hammers should be all over this one, if there is indeed a chance of bringing him to the London Stadium.

Described as an ‘incredible’ player by Yahoo, the 23-year-old central midfielder is an elite talent.

However, he doesn’t come without big problems.

Fagioli was banned for seven months back in October 2023 after being found guilty of gambling (Daily Mail) – a strict no-no for professional footballers.

He seems to have put all of those issues behind him now though, and has made 22 appearances for Juventus in all competitions this season.

Nicolo Fagioli can play in the deep-lying midfield role, or further forward, but he is at his best when operating at both ends of the pitch as a box-to-box player.

Hopefully West Ham manage to push through a deal for the Italian in the January transfer window.
