West Ham now have a chance of signing Juventus ace Weston McKennie on loan in January according to a report from The Sun.
The Hammers have been heavily lined with a move to sign the dynamic 23-year-old over the past few weeks (Calcio Mercato).
David Moyes strengthened his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium in the summer by signing Alex Kral on loan with an option to buy.
It seems though Moysie may well be on the lookout for further reinforcements for his engine room, however.
West Ham have chance of signing Juventus ace Weston McKennie on loan
The talented United States international could be on his way out of Juventus and the Turin giants are now prepared to loan the £25 million rated ace to the Hammers according to The Sun.
We think that the 23-year-old would be a fabulous addition to Moyes’s ranks.
McKennie was described as a ‘brilliantly bright’ midfielder by Bundesliga’s official website last year.
The American is an incredibly industrious, hard-working and energetic central midfielder.
The former Schalke man enjoyed a fine campaign with Juve last term, bagging five goals and two assists in 34 Serie A matches (Who Scored).
During those outings, The United States international averaged one tackle and 0.8 interceptions per game.
The American made 22.2 passes on average and recorded a completion rate of 85.4%.
Signing him on loan would be great business for the Hammers.
McKennie at his best:
Let’s just hope that we are able to beat the likes of Aston Villa and Tottenham to his signature in January.
