West Ham United appear to have just made a real U-turn on 28-year-old winger Said Benrahma.
Said Benrahma has barely played for West Ham this season, and clubs like Lyon and Fulham are allegedly keen to sign him in the January transfer window.
Hammers boss David Moyes has never been a huge fan of the Algerian, he’s made that evidently clear, and the winger has played just 615 Premier League minutes this season, recording one assist and zero goals in the process (Transfermarkt).
I believe that an exit from the club this month will be the best outcome for the former Brentford man.
Benrahma has been in woeful form this season and has been heavily linked with an exit from the London Stadium, whilst a recent report claimed that the Hammers value the winger at around £22 million.
However, it now seems like West Ham could be prepared to lower our demands for the Algeria international…

West Ham make Said Benrahma U-turn
According to Claret and Hugh – a website with close links to co-owner David Sullivan – the Hammers board are now prepared to listen to ‘any offers’ that come their way for the winger.
That represents quite the turnaround from our reported stance of holding out for £22 million for the 28-year-old.
I think if we can get anything like £15 million for Benrahma, we should sell him without a second thought.
The former Brentford man has looked like an absolute shadow of his former self for West Ham this season.
He doesn’t look in great shape if we’re being honest and he now lacks the confidence needed to take on his man – something that makes him entirely ineffective as a winger.
If West Ham manage to get a decent fee for Said Benrahma in January, it will give Moyes some wriggle room when it comes to bringing in some new players.
I think the sooner we can move the Algerian on the better as far as I’m concerned.
