West Ham get massive £170m Thomas Tuchel boost as Chelsea windfall is great news for hopes of signing Armando Broja.
A Chelsea expert speaking to Hammers News recently claimed the Todd Boehly takeover could be in West Ham’s interests over striker Broja.
And it seems they were very much correct if new reports out of Chelsea are anything to go by.

West Ham were first linked with a move for Chelsea-owned Broja earlier this season after seriously catching the eye on loan at Southampton (Football Insider).
Sky Sports has reported that Broja is on David Moyes’s list of striker targets for the summer window with a forward being a top priority for West Ham.
And Jamie Redknapp claimed live on Sky Sports last month that he has heard the Chelsea academy product – who he has known since he was 14 – is wanted by West Ham in a permanent move this summer.

Moyes has been searching – without success – for a striker to bring to West Ham ever since selling Sebastien Haller to Ajax 18 months ago.
Football Insider claims West Ham have made an approach to Chelsea to sign Broja after having him watched closely throughout last season by head of recruitment Rob Newman.

The future of Broja has been directly linked to whether Tuchel will be given funds to improve the Chelsea squad now that there is no longer a bottomless pit of money at Stamford Bridge.
Should the German have significant funds to make a renewed challenge for the title, then Broja’s future looks distinctly likely to be away from Chelsea.
Now it looks as though West Ham will get a massive £170m Tuchel boost as Chelsea windfall is great news for their hopes of signing Broja.
The likes of The Mirror and Sky Sports claim Tuchel could land a £170m windfall to add to his Chelsea transfer warchest with a host of players set to leave.

Given his frosty relationship with Romelu Lukaku – who reportedly wants out – that would mean Tuchel would be in the market for a top new striker.
And that should clear the path for West Ham to land Moyes’s prime striker target Broja.
According to an insider speaking to Claret and Hugh recently, Moyes wants Broja but is not willing to spend silly money bringing the Albanian to the London Stadium.
