David Moyes is desperate to bring a top-class centre-back to the London Stadium this summer.
West Ham’s first-choice targets are believed to be Nikola Milenkovic and Kurt Zouma according to ExWHUemployee although it is thought that the East London outfit are now prioritising the Serbian.

It is now being suggested that Saints defender Jannik Vestergaard is a back-up option for the Hammers, however, should Moyes fail in his attempts to bring Milenkovic to the London Stadium.
West Ham fans pleased with Vestergaard links
The giant 6ft 6in Denmark international has made 79 appearances for the Saints. He has established himself as an important player for Ralph Hasenhuttl at St Mary’s.

Vestergaard made 30 Premier League appearances for Southampton last season. In those outings, the 29-year-old averaged 1.7 tackles, 1.4 interceptions, 4 clearances and 0.5 blocks per game. He also won an average of 3.3 aerial duals per match during that period (WhoScored).
It is clear that Milenkovic would be the best option for the Hammers this summer.
If for some reason we can’t get a deal done for the 23-year-old, however, the giant Southampton centre-back would be more than a decent alternative option.
