West Ham Twitter ITK westhamonline has claimed that the Hammers players want Said Benrahma deployed in the number 10 position this season rather than out wide.

Many West Ham fans are expecting the 25-year-old star to light it up this season.
With it looking unlikely that Jesse Lingard or Matheus Pereira will be moving to the London Stadium this summer, Benrahma could have a hugely important role to play for David Moyes.

Will the seven-capped Algeria international be deployed out wide or through the middle by Moyes this season, however?
West Ham players want Benrahma in the number 10 role
West Ham Twitter ITK westhamonline made the claim this morning:
The westhamonline Twitter account gained traction when it was started back in February of this year and began to nail every single ‘predicted XI’.
It is now thought that whoever the anonymous tweeter is has some kind of inside knowledge at the London Stadium.
In all fairness, Benrahma seems far better suited to playing just in behind the main striker.

The former Brentford ace isn’t the quickest but he is one of the most technically gifted players in the game.
Benrahma can find space anywhere and his ability on the ball makes him perfectly suited to playing in the hole.
He operated mostly as a left winger last season and sometimes the games passed him by. If Moyes uses him as a number 10 the onus will be more on him to get the ball and make things happen.

This season could well be Benrahma’s time to shine. And playing centrally will certainly help him do just that.
