According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham have submitted a concrete offer for Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes, in what is terrible news for West Ham.

Hammers manager David Moyes is keen to bring the 25-year-old to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window (the Guardian), and Leicester allegedly want round £40 million for his services.

According to the Daily Mail, Spurs have lodged a £50 million bid for the 25-year-old and his teammate James Maddison.
The only thing in our favour is that that bid from Tottenhams surely won’t cut it, so there will still be time for the Hammers to move in and sign the Leicester star.
Harvey Barnes is an exceptional player and has absolutely everything that West Ham need, so missing out to Tottenham on his services will be a bitter pill to swallow.
Foxes of Leicester have described Barnes as ‘sensational’, and they’re spot on – he really is an elite player.
He has pace and power in abundance, and with 13 Premier League goals this season, he clearly has an eye for the back of the net as well.
Losing out to our bitter rivals in the race for the Foxes ace will be a huge blow for the Hammers.
And with Tottenham reportedly having made a bid for Harvey Barnes, West Ham had better act fast if Moyes really wants the fleet-footed attacker at the London Stadium.
