West Ham are eyeing two right-back targets and looking to be ‘opportunistic’ with loans in the January window claims a new report.
With West Ham having endured a woeful first half of the season thus far, many fans feel the club must strengthen again next month to avoid a disaster.
Moyes was backed with £170m as he signed eight players in the summer.
But there is no hiding the fact the Hammers are short in several key areas, particularly at fullback and up front.
The team’s goalscoring issues are best highlighted by the fact West Ham have scored only 12 league goals all season – the joint third worst in the top flight.

Many fans were disappointed when Moyes told talkSPORT this week that he would not be looking to sign players in the winter window.
“Nah, I don’t think we will,” was Moyes’ blunt response on talkSPORT when asked if West Ham will strengthen during the window.
With the Hammers just one point off the bottom three ahead of the restart many may feel that is a big risk in an ultra competitive Premier League.

And that seems to be the case if a new report from The Evening Standard is anything to go by.
Because West Ham are eyeing two right-back targets and looking to be ‘opportunistic’ with loans in the January window claims the report.
The Evening Standard claims that West Ham are interested in right-backs Ola Aina and Aaron Wan-Bissaka next month.
Moyes made moves to sign Torino ace Aina – a former Chelsea and Fulham player – and Man United outcast Wan-Bissaka in the summer window.

It is no surprise Moyes is reigniting that interest because Vladimir Coufal and Ben Johnson are nowhere near the required standard for a modern full-back.
The Hammers are also looking to use the loan market next month it is claimed.
“West Ham could revive their interest in Aina, though Leeds and Crystal Palace have also been linked,” The Evening Standard reports.
“A loan move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka was touted in the summer and, given his lack of playing time at Manchester United, the full-back may be available this month…
“It seems likely the Hammers will seek to be opportunistic in the loan market given their hefty summer outlay.”
