West Ham are eyeing a January swoop for Raul De Tomas according to a report from the Hard Tackle.

The 26-year-old has been on fire in Spain over the past year or so.
Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to add a striker to his ranks at the London Stadium in January.
Michail Antonio is the only current option we have available to us through the middle.
And that quite simply isn’t acceptable for a club hoping to challenge for the top six in the Premier League as well as trying to win the Europa League.

It seems as though Moyes is determined to address that particular issue though.
West Ham eyeing swoop for Raul De Tomas
The 26-year-old Spaniard is allegedly on the Hammers’ radar.
De Tomas has been in quite simply brilliant for for Espanyol since the start of last season, bagging 26 goals and four assists in 45 games (Transfermarkt).

The versatile Spaniard is at his best when operating through the middle as an orthodox centre-forward but he can operate on either wing as well or even in the number 10 position.
The 26-year-old forward learnt his trade at Real Madrid but he didn’t quite make it at the Bernabeu.
He has clearly found a new lease of life with Espanyol, however. And the La Liga outfit want around £27 million for De Tomas according to Hard Tackle.
That sounds like an awful lot of money for West Ham to be spending on a striker who has absolutely no experience of Premier League football.

And it remains to be seen whether the Hammers will even be prepared to pay that kind of cash for De Tomas.
