West Ham United are allegedly back in the race to sign Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from Mundo Deportivo who claims that the 24-year-old striker’s time with Real Madrid is coming to an end.

Jovic joined Real Madrid from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019 for around £55 million (AS).
The 22-capped Serbia international has been a huge disappointment during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, however.

Spanish newspaper Marca described him as a ‘flop’ and one of the worst signings in the history of Real Madrid. Quite the endorsement eh!!
The bottom line us that Jovic is actually a very good striker. Moving to Real Madrid was obviously just the wrong fit for him. And it seems as though West Ham could try to rescue the Serbian from his nightmare in Spain…
West Ham eyeing summer Luka Jovic swoop
Mundo Deportivo reckon that the 24-year-old hitman is firmly on the Hammers’ radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite his struggles with Madrid, we strongly believe that Jovic would be an exceptional addition for West Ham.
The gifted forward has barely played for Madrid with just 49 appearances to his name in three years.

He proved his quality during his time with Eintracht Frankfurt, however, with 40 goals and 10 assists in 93 appearances for the Bundesliga side (Transfermarkt).
Jovic is technically gifted and has a cunning knack of being able to find sauce in tight areas. He is very good with the ball at his feet as well.
The 24-year-old isn’t the quickest by any means but he is a very intelligent footballer. Jovic has proven throughout his career that he’s a great finisher as well.
And if he is available for a reasonable fee this summer, West Ham should not think twice about prising him away from Madrid.
