Jermain Defoe absolutely raved about West Ham United ace Jarrod Bowen when speaking on Sky Sports this afternoon.
The 25-year-old returned to the Hammers starting lineup for our clash with Everton at the London Stadium today.
In other news…Report: West Ham are interested in bringing 25-year-old back to the London Stadium
Bowen has been out injured with a troublesome ankle and foot since March 7th when he hobbled off during our defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

West Ham have really missed the former Hull City ace’s quality and work-rate down the right hand flank over the past four weeks.
So it came as a big relief when he was named in the starting XI by David Moyes today.
Jermain Defoe raves about West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen
The 25-year-old was signed from Hull for around £18 million back in January 2020 (The Daily Mail).
He has been a revelation for the Hammers and this season he seems to have reached a new level entirely.
The West Ham attacker has bagged 12 goals and 11 assists in 39 games this term (Transfermarkt).
And Jermain Defoe praised Jarrod Bowen to the hilt, when speaking on Sky Sports this afternoon (Sunday April 3rd, 1:46pm):

“He’s definitely someone who has impressed me, the goals he’s scored and technically he’s so good. To have him back is massive and he’s probably their best player.”
Best player? Wow that’s a bold call from Defoe.
Declan Rice is the best we have at the London Stadium in my opinion.
That’s taking nothing away from Bowen. He has been absolutely brilliant over the past seven months or so.
The 25-year-old can still get a lot better though and if he continues to work hard, the sky will be the limit for him.
Bowen has firmly established himself as one of West Ham’s very best players. And Defoe suggesting that he is the best should give him another huge confidence boost as we head into the final six weeks of the season.
