West Ham United have been linked with an exciting move to sign Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley in the January transfer window.
According to TEAMtalk, Matt O’Riley is on the radar of West Ham but Celtic will demand at least £25 million for the 22-year-old.

Hammers boss David Moyes strengthened his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium in the summer after Declan Rice left the club, with the additions of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse.
However, further additions could well be required. The fact that Alvarez is suspended for this weekend’s clash with Brentford has already highlighted a major problem for West Ham.
And it seems as though Moyes is looking to address that particular issue in the January transfer window…

West Ham eye exciting move to bring £25 million Celtic star Matt O’Riley back to London
TEAMtalk reckon that the Hammers are eyeing a move to sign the talented Celtic midfielder when the winter window opens.
I think that the Hoops ace would be a terrific addition to Moyes’s squad at the London Stadium.
Born in Hounslow, O’Riley began his youth career with Fulham, before moving to MK Dons in 2021 and then eventually Celtic in January 2022.
The 22-year-old has proven to be an excellent signing for the Hoops, and has bagged six goals and four assists in 14 games for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season (Transfermarkt) – not bad for a midfielder eh!
O’Riley is a central midfielder by trade, but he can operate in the deep-lying role and the number 10 position as well if need be.
That kind of versatility will undoubtedly appeal to Moyes, especially considering his £25 million minimum price-tag. He’s a really hard worker as well – something that is a prerequisite for anyone who wants to play for a team managed by Moyes.
And if West Ham sign Matt O’Riley from Celtic in January, I think it will be a very good move indeed from the club.
