The 21-year-old superstar is expected to leave Dortmund next summer and could go for as much as £150 million according to talkSPORT.

And according to Sport Bild, Ajax ace Haller could be the man to replace the Norway international at Signal Iduna Park.

Now, the simple fact of the matter is that the former Eintracht Frankfurt hitman just didn’t suit the robust and intense nature of Premier League football.

It could be argued that the West Ham team wasn’t set up to play to his strengths either.

In hindsight though, and given the fact that we STILL haven’t sign a replacement, surely we should have kept the 6ft 3in hitman.

The fact that Dortmund want to sign Haller as a replacement for arguably the best striker in world football tells us all we need to know about the Ivorian’s quality.

The 27-year-old has been a huge hit with Ajax since his exit from West Ham, bagging 23 goals and nine assists in 34 appearances (Transfermarkt).

The Hammers could certainly have used big Seb over the course of the past 10 months, and we would have undoubtedly picked up more points had he stayed.

If Dortmund end up signing Haller to replace Haaland, it will be clear that the Hammers made a very big mistake in January.
