A West Ham deal for a £50m Erik ten Hag outcast is in the works confirms a Manchester United reporter this weekend.
The winter window is almost upon us and both West Ham and Manchester United are already being linked with a host of transfer activity.
Given West Ham’s performances so far this season and the club’s precarious position in the table, Moyes needs to be active when the January window opens.
The Hammers have been utterly woeful in the fullback areas and David Moyes failed miserably in addressing that during the summer window.

Both Man United and West Ham are also said to be looking to sign new right-backs.
And recent reports have suggested he will try again for Wan-Bissaka in January.
Now a West Ham deal for the £50m Erik ten Hag outcast is in the works confirms a Manchester United reporter.
Reporting for the Manchester Evening News on Sunday, chief Man United writer Samuel Luckhurst has confirmed West Ham’s interest in bringing the former Crystal Palace star back to London.
And Luckhurst has confirmed Man United are willing to do a deal with the Hammers in January.
“West Ham United are interested in signing Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka on loan in the January transfer window…” Luckhurst reports.
“United informed Wan-Bissaka he was free to leave before the end of last season and there was reputed interest from West Ham in the summer.
“West Ham have a close relationship with Wan-Bissaka’s representatives Unique Sports Management, which oversaw Maxwel Cornet’s transfer from Burnley in the summer. Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell are also both represented by the same agency.”
Wan-Bissaka would be a superb signing for West Ham.

The 24-year-old is recognised as one of the finest one v one defenders in the Premier League.
But he has been criticised for his lack of ability going forward. However during his time at Crystal Palace, Wan-Bissaka showed he has got that in his game.
The problem is being an attacking fullback for a team like West Ham or Crystal Palace is a totally different proposition than doing it for Man United.
Most teams who play the Red Devils will put 10 men behind the ball and try to play on the counter attack.
But against West Ham and Palace, sides will go at them leaving space for Wan-Bissaka to get forward – just as he used to for the Eagles with performances which persuaded Man United to part with £50m to sign him.
