West Ham could very well be one of the clubs to have made a £12 million bid for Bordeaux striker Alberth Elis.
Diez claim that the Hammers are very interested in signing the 56-capped Honduras international and there are apparently ‘multiple offers’ on the table for the forward.

And all the signs point to West Ham being one of the club’s who have made an offer for the 26-year-old striker.

Moyes likes his attackers to be powerful, physically robust and full of pace. So signing the Bordeaux striker seems like somewhat of a no-brainer. Especially considering that he is available for just £12 million this summer according to GFFN.
And we believe that the Hammers are right on the case…
West Ham might have made striker bid
With Diez claiming that Bordeaux have received multiple offers for Alberth Elis, I firmly believe that one of them have come from the Hammers.
And if Moyes can bring him to the London Stadium for around £12 million, it would be outstanding business for West Ham.
Now, the Honduran isn’t an out and out striker. He is actually a winger by trade, although he can operate through the middle as a centre-forward.

Elis was in fine form for Boavista in the 2020/21 season. He racked up eight goals and seven assists in 31 league games (Transfermarkt).
This season just gone, he has bagged nine goals and one assist in 20 games for Bordeaux during a loan spell with the French side (Transfermarkt).
The Honduran possesses blistering pace and plays with a certain kind of directness that could make him a real asset for West Ham. £12 million for the Boavista man seems like decent value.
He has acquired the nickname ‘The Little Panther’ having donned a Black Panther mask on numerous occasions after scoring.
MLS Soccer once described Elis as a ‘powerhouse’ forward.
And if West Ham have indeed made a bid for the Bordeaux striker, let’s hope that it is one that the French club deem to be acceptable. Elis really would be the ideal forward to come in and compete with Michail Antonio, especially for the fee being quoted!
