It was reported late last night that West Ham were in pole position to sign the 21-year-old PSG hitman.

And now we know the reason as to why.

West Ham could seal stunning summer signing as player reportedly turns down 2 contract offers
Hugo Ekitike could now be Hammers bound after he rejected the chance to join Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Moyes really should be going all out for the young Frenchman – he’s such an incredibly exciting talent.

The 21-year-old has pace to burn, sensational movement inside the box and is a truly elite finisher when presented with a goalscoring opportunity.
He suits Moyes’s set up at the London Stadium to a tee what with his blistering pace and willingness to run the channels.
The PSG forward is apparently available for just £34 million this summer as well.
Signing the young striker this summer should be an absolute no-brainer for West Ham as far as I’m concenred.
