West Ham United could make Said Benrahma’s loan move from Brentford permanent six months early.
Haller farewell after big hint and brutal verdict from Moyes?
That’s according to reliable West Ham insider ExWHUemployee.
Benrahma signed on a season-long loan in a complicated deadline day deal back in October.
The move was agreed with an obligation – not option – for West Ham to sign Benrahma permanently for around £30million – including the £5m loan fee and add-ons.

Benrahma loan could be made permanent early – insider
Benrahma’s move hit trouble over issues with his West Ham medical. So a loan deal with obligation to buy was agreed.
But the Hammers are only obligated to sign the Algerian if he comes through a second medical at the end of the season with no problems (The Athletic).
That move could be expedited in January, though, to free up one of the two loan slots available to David Moyes.
Another option could be to cancel Craig Dawson’s loan move if Watford will agree to it.
That’s according to insider ExWHUemployee, who revealed Moyes is exploring the loan market as he looks to strengthen his squad.

ExWHUemployee says £30m deal could be brought forward or Dawson loan terminated to free up loan spot
“At the moment officially we can’t have anymore loan players because Premier League teams are only allowed two and we’ve got Dawson and Benrahma,” ExWHUemployee said on The West Ham Way podcast (December 22nd).
“However Benrahma’s transfer deal is going to be completed in the summer by obligation unless he fails the medical side of it which was the reason this was put in place.
“It doesn’t look like he is going to fail that. So the club could decide to bring that transfer forward to now (to free up a loan slot). Or they could terminate Dawson’s loan, particularly with the new Danish signing (Frederik Alves Ibsen)…
“I don’t know if they can, or if they’d have to appeal to Watford to do that… but it is a possibility.”
Benrahma has been eased into Premier League life by David Moyes.

Making move permanent would alleviate pressure on Moyes and Benrahma
He shone on his first start in the win over Leeds.
But he struggled to make an impact in the draw with Crystal Palace and was dropped for Mark Noble at Chelsea on Monday night.
Some fans fear West Ham might try to find a way out of the move if Benrahma fails to hit it off under Moyes.
Others worry the player himself might decide West Ham are not for him if he can’t establish himself in the starting XI.
But if West Ham complete the permanent deal in January it would cast all those doubts aside and may even alleviate some pressure on Moyes and Benrahma when it comes to how he used and performs.
